Massa’s argument is pretty straightforward—we are now living in a post-dating world. The days of soda shops, sock hops, and dinner-and-a-movie dates are long gone. In their place is a series of ambiguous daily interactions between the sexes that can be pretty hard to decipher.
As part of her Harvard psychology coursework, Massa employed her research skills to help decipher the complexities of the modern dating world. What she found was that women were neglecting one of their most valuable resources: their ‘gaggle.’ The gaggle is the group of eligible men, from coworkers to friends to ex-boyfriends, who play an important role in your life. Whether or not you’re actually interested in them romantically, these men offer something extremely important: the chance to decide which traits you’re looking for in a guy.
With her fresh take on dating, and sensible, actionable advice, Massa offers readers an invaluable resource for navigating the complex 21st century dating world.

I don't care what she says about where she got her idea. This was stolen from sex and the city. Charolette talked about it and focused on it the entire weekend.
