Stink-y who?

Stink E. Moody, and he’s in the mood to read. Check out his list of favorite books! (And mine.)  --Megan McDonald

Some Favorite Books for ages 7-12:

I love books with quirky characters, (like Doug Swieteck, Horrid Henry, or Hank Wolowitz and his (invisible) pet bandacat) lots of humor, and a big heart. I look for good storytelling—a book that can be read aloud with the whole family. For me, this often comes in the form of voice—the way the first line, the first chapter, draws me in with a whisper or a bang. A laugh. A beckoning.
