Wow this would be a dream to upgrade from my 1st edition, and my daughter would also love to get one as well. I would give my 1st edition to my girlfriend. I have a customer at my work who entered for a nook color and then forgot about it, so he came home one day and there was a tablet waiting for him... so it could happen

What a superb contest! I would love to upgrade from my 1st edition, and I am sure my son would love a NOOK of his own.

As I also don't have or Need a facebook account, but have been a member for quite a few years, I feel there should be an alternate AND equal method of entering this contest.

A new upgraded Nook would be fantastic at this time. Enjoy all the reading I've done on my current Nook but having one with even more upgraded advantages along with one for my special other would be great way to celebrate Valentines Day. Love to read but when space for all those hardcover and paperback books is a problem a Nook is the way to go! Thank you to B&N and the NOOK people.

Ok people! You don't have to be a member of facebook to sign up for this contest! If you have a PC, all's you have to do is go to www.facebook.com/nook and scroll down to where it talks about the giveaway and there is a link you click on to fill out your info. Simple as that! But FYI this link only works on a PC, not your phone or nook device

Krasykatiebug, I am seeing no where to click that doesn't ask me to log in to facebook or sign up.
I am really disappointed Barnes and Noble would eliminate a huge number of their customers for this great sweepstake. I do not have a facebook account and do not want one.
