Since 1997, you’ve been coming to to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Coming Changes to This Book Club

[ Edited ]
Hi everyone. This is Bill, one of the Book Clubs editors here at Barnes & Noble.

As we've noted in the Book Clubs Blog, we're making some changes to the book clubs in order to help make some discussions easier to find, bring some of our related discussions together into spaces that are simpler to keep up with, and bring a little bit more structure to some of the conversations.

For discussions here, that means the following changes:

1. We're asking you to begin bringing your conversations about Nora Roberts and her books to the Romantic Reading Book Club.

That book club, in revamped form, will be home to conversations about a wide range of romance-tinged reads, including Nora Roberts. Clare Payton will be joining this book club as moderator.

The "Nora Roberts" discussion area discussion area will not be closed to comments at this point -- but we will be actively moderating the conversation in the Romantic Reads Book Club, and we urge you to join us there.

2. Beginning later this month, we'll be offering a scheduled "featured read" in the Romantic Reads Book Club, with the hope that many of you will enjoy having a regular selection to read together. We'll provide information about the book as well as discussion topics -- in a manner similar to book club discussions of individual titles on our site.

Our first "featured" title will be Nora Roberts's Angels Fall; There will be a new featured read each month -- sometimes including the participation of the author. You'll get advance notice of the selections, so that you can read ahead in preparation for the discussions.

3. You may have noticed that the "Romantic Reads" category is now listed on the "Fiction" page of the Barnes & Noble Book Clubs site. The revamped Romantic Reads Book Club, along with our Mystery Book Club and Thrillers Book Club will live on in this manner, as subsets of fiction.

A final note -- we of course hope that many of you will both take part in the scheduled reading, and raise your voices to suggest featured titles for future months. But you'll continue to be welcome to post about and discuss other titles and authors, alongside the scheduled discussion.

We look forward to seeing more great conversation in this space, and hope that these changes in course work - as we think they will -- to stimulate an even richer book club experience for all of our participants.

Thanks, as always, for joining us here.
