How Many?

Roberts is indisputably one of the most prolific authors in popular literature today; how many of her books have you read? (Now is your chance to brag!) Do you ever find yourself reading your favorites more than once?

Re: How Many?

I am not sure how many books I have read - at least half of her Roberts book and all of the Robb books. Seiously, how are we supposed to keep up with her when she puts out a new book every 4-6 months! It's insane, yet very addictive to try to keep up!

How does she do it?

You are right. I think it must be addictive on her end as well. She's just addicted to writing! I wonder how she does it. I wonder how many hours per day equals a book every 6 months. I would guess at least 7-8 hours a day.

Re: How Many?

I want to say that I have read nearly all of her books. From the time that she wrote for Harlequin to now. I know that there are a few that have slipped through. It is hard to remember which ones I have read when they are now coming out again as double books and triple books. As for her J.D. Robb's all of them. And all of her hardcovers.
Even though she is coming out with new ones all the time, she is still able to keep them fresh in my opinion.

How does she keep them fresh?

To further our consideration of how she does it, I wanted to follow up on KatRose's comment that Roberts still manages to keep each book seeming fresh? How does she do that? What examples can you think of?

Re: How Many?

I personally own and have read all the JD Robb books (including the anthologies she's been published in) as well as all the mainstream books she's written and her trilogies. I don't have any of the early work she did as pretty much a straight romance author.

I also think that I have read all of Nora Roberts books. She and Karin Slaughter are my favorites to read. I love to read and I am glad to see that B&N now have this message board up and running.

Re: How Many?

If I have missed any starting way back when during her Harlequin days then it is a mistake ... I believe I even own them all!

I sometimes get "tricked" by the rereleases although they are becoming easier to distinquish and now that I get her newletter it is even better.

Re: How Many?

I am shamefully admitting that I have gotten way behind on my Nora Roberts books since the birth of my children. But I've read ALOT! But I have kept up with all of the Robb books. I joined this book club to try to inspire myself to start reading again!

Re: How Many?

Hi... I'm new to this book club and I'm glad to be able to share my thoughts with other Nora Roberts fans! I have read nearly all of her books. I'm from the Philippines, and fortunately, there are a handful of bookstores here that sell Nora's earlier books. I understand that Silhouette books were not released here, but at least, thru ebay, my friends in the US and some of the new bookstores here, I'm able to find most of her earlier-released books.

Re: How Many?

I have read most of Nora Roberts books. My favorite trilogies are Circle and Three Sisters Island. Has anyone read the new Circle Trilogy? What did you think about it?

Re: How Many?

Hi Bailey! I loved the Circle series! I had to wait for all of the three books to come out before I bought them so I can read them one after the other. I absolutely love this series... it made me angry, cry and smile!

Re: How Many?

I've read 13 Nora books, and I am currently working my way through the JD Robb books - finished Holiday in Death not too long ago!
