Any suggestions for the Nook freezin up.....
Also, was reading a "lent" book and did not finish it before the time limit.....at that point I purchased the book. The $9.15 came through on the bank account really fast......
My nook has the book listed and has the Lend Me symbol.....so that means it is mine and I did purchase it.......but when I try to read it this message comes up....LOADING BOOK............the lending period for this book has expired..................
So I have purchased something I cannot read...............
Help

Did you call customer service? I did and received complete satisfaction.
I marvel at people who miss that this is NOT a place to resolve warranty or business practice issues. It is a "Community board" ... a place to share experience and issues that can be remedied by others in the user community.
I also marvel at people who think that "Wishin I'd bought a kindle" is going to some how get faster, better or easier satisfaction over the issue. It won't. You have a legitimate gripe and the company can and will help you with it. However, you have to call them up.
You can also try this: On the web site, archive the book you bought. Then connect the nook to the USB and deleting the book from the directory there. Go back to the web site and return the archived book to the library. Then go to the nook and refresh your content. That's what I would try if I faced your issue.
Oh yes, the Kindle also has DRM issues sometimes. There simply is no reason for implied threats or comparing one product with another. If you want a kindle, buy a kindle. If you don't like the nook, that's too bad. I like it a lot.

Well I guess we are really not having a good day. I love my nook and yes I did think I could get some help here......guess I was wrong about that. I did read the manual and do know how to do the archive and things like that.....which were done...................
So sorry this post upset you so bad......and there were no implied threats...you are right if I want a kindle I can have one of those too....but you see what I bought.....great minds think alike
