Anyone solve freezing problem?

I would like to know if anyone has been able to permanantly solve the problem of their Nook freezing.

Yes, before anyone wants to throw some shoes at me, I have read the threads about taking out the battery.  This has worked but the problem keeps occuring.  I have used my Nook about five or six times and it has frozen twice on me.  Taking out the battery is fine right when it happens but can that be the answer every time?  This problem has to be solved.

So, if your freezing up problem has stopped, how did you stop it?

If you are like me and keep freezing up, what are you planning to do about this, if anything?

Re: Anyone solve freezing problem?

What am I *planning* to do?  Me, as with everyone else here -- I'm waiting patiently as I can for the next software update. And that's for the freezing issue, the lost bookmarks, the garbled titles, the Adobe DRM bug, the unsorted My Documents list, and a whole host of other problems.

If you're expecting a bunch of brand new users of a brand new product to have miracles in a bag for you... well, we're not the right people.

So -- no thrown shoe from me.  Just a suggestion that if there's been no solution posted, there isn't one.

Use the search function.  I check each day or three to see if there's been word about the update or a solution to the bookmarks issue (other than the workarounds and advice already posted).  I suggest -- truly in a friendly way, I mean it -- that you do the same.
