I keep getting the message "User not activated." when I try to open my DRM .epub files. How do I get them to activate? I moved my Adobe digital editions file into My Documents. I also have the most updated version. 1.1.1
It's really frustrating as most of my books are .epub and .pdf DRM files.
Is anyone else having his issue?

You might try these posts found with the search function: http://bookclubs.barnesandnoble.com/t5/forums/sear
Those posts should help you out, this issue has been discussed in depth on the boards. Did you authorize your nook with ADE?

Don't move any files, put back the ADE file folder back to it's original location. At this time you can't use B&N epub files on ADE. If you purchased an epub book from another site just authorize your nook by first opening ADE and plug in your nook, clicking Library, from the drop down menu click authorize nook. After that you can drop and drag the book into your nook. It know where to go. You can if your contents on your nook after that, if not then refresh your nook buy clicking on looking for new content.

Hi I had this same problem but I think I already authorized my nook when I first plugged it into ADE because the only option is to authorize the computer, I have dragged books into the nook in ADE but it is still giving me the "user not activated" message when I tried to read them. Do u know any other way to fix this problem?

well, did you authorize the computer? the "user" in ADE needs to match computer to nook. FIRST authorize the computer, then nook so the users "match" then download books. If you download books to an unauthorized computer, it will think that the anonymous/unauthorized user is the "user" for the books that have downloaded, and will read the nook as a different user.
I found this lovely answer in the ADE forums when I was having a similar (though not identical) problem.
how to use Adobe Digital Editions generally / How to put library books on your nook
