Discrepancy between Order Status and Customer Service

I ordered my nook on 11/09/2009. This morning when I checked the order status, there was new language in red that said that if I did not click the "i still want this item" hyperlink, that my order would be cancelled. I never got an email nor any $100 offer. I called CS and they said that my nook would ship tomorrow. This afternoon, I recheck Order Status and now it states that my ship date is January 20, 2010. I called CS again and was again told that my nook would ship tomorrow. The CS agent said the webpage was wrong.
Anyone else have the same experience where Customer Service and Order Status provide conflicting informaton??

This has been discussed a lot on board. The order status is incorrect. You should have it prior to the 24th.

I had the same problem.
I am pretty frustrated with the whole process right now so if I don't see it on the 22 of Dec then I will probably cancel

Pay no attention to the January Date on the Order Status page.
It is just something Barnes and Noble's system does to track back orders.
Please don't post about the January order status date any more. Enough already.
Its getting seriously old. People come here looking for explanations but instead of reading any of the threads they simply start posting the same old stuff over again. READ the Threads.
