I put together a dragon screensaver for my Nook. I thought it turned out nice enough that I'd share. This screensaver features my own illustrations that I then edited to be greyscale and properly sized for the Nook. If you like dragons, this might be a nice screensaver for you too.
These are absolutely free to use. I only ask that these images not be reposted again to other websites, and that the neondragonart watermark remain intact. :-) Enjoy!
To turn this into a screensaver for your nook:
- Right click and save each image to your computer.
- Put all of the saved images into a folder named "Dragons"
- Hook your Nook up to your computer
- Open the "Screensavers" Folder on your Nook.
- Copy the "Dragons" folder from your computer into the screensavers folder on your nook. Copy over the entire folder. Do not copy individual images without first putting them into a folder, or they will not be grouped and work as a screensaver.
- Unplug your Nook
- Open "Settings" on your touch screen.
- Open "Diplay" on your touch screen
- Select "Dragons" as your screensaver.
- Tah-dah! When your Nook goes to sleep, it should now cycle between all the images in the Dragons folder as your screensaver.
(These are sized to work as screensavers, not as wallpapers. If you use it as a wallpaper, the Nook will create two black bars on either side of the image as it is not the correct dimensions. If there's enough interest, I'll look into making some dragon wallpapers out of other pieces of my artwork that are appropriately sized to be wallpapers.)
