Re: Folders? PDF Reflow?

My two remaining questions are above.   Does the Nook allow for folders?  And does it have PDF reflow or does it only read device-ready PDFs.  Thanks.

I have the contents of my My Documents area organized in folders on the flash drive. The folders don't show up on the e-ink screen, though--just a list of items organized by author's name.

Re: Folders? PDF Reflow?

Two nice features I'd like to see: PDFs: I think I'd be happy with either zoom/pan of documents so I would see them as four quadrants each rendered at 600x800 pixels. Total rendering would be 1200 pixels wide x1600 pixels tall which would probably be excellent. Fractional panning might be nice though. OR Rotated 90 deg view+top/bottom half page at a time. This would give a bigger horizontal view (800 pixels) but only half a page (600 pixels) at a time but would render the entire document as 800 pixels wide by 1200 pixels tall. Seems like you could get a respectable view going from 480K pixels (600x800) to 960K pixels (800x1200). Not as good as above but probably decent. Folder View: This seems like a pretty basic feature. The nook can't search "My Documents" because you don't get that option. It only delivers a sorted list (by title or author). But folders offer a way of "filtering" content so you can easily get directly to what you want. I keep lots of books from Project Gutenberg in folders on my computer & nook but have to flip through up to fifteen pages to get to the title I want. If a folder view was presented, I'd have one nook page with content listed & filtered by author folders. This be marvelous!
