Is the Ship Date the Arrival Date?

When I preordered last week, my B&N rep said the shipping date for my nook was Dec. 7. And when I asked her if that meant that's the date it 'ships' or the date it arrives at my doorstep, she said that's the date I get it ... the day it's delivered.

She seemed very certain of that.

That right? Anyone know?

Your order confirmation will include your anticipated ship date. That't the date your order leaves our warehouse.
