I'm considering buying a nook for myself and one for my wife. The question is, if I do this do I have to buy books twice if we both want to read them? I'm pretty sure you can have more than one Kindle active on a acct and they both get all purchases. Just wanted to know if the Nook will do this. I don't want to have to buy ebooks twice and the lending feature just wouldn't cut it for this instance.

I believe you can have more than one nook on your account which would mean that the ebook purchases would be available to all nooks associated with the account.

Yes, how ever many devices are registered to your B&N account, all of them can share the eBooks from that account. So if you have 2 nooks, your blackberry, your PC, and 2 macs registered to one account, they can all share a single purchased book from that account. However, each time a book is loaded on one of these devices, you will need the credit card number used to purchase the book in order to unlock it. So far as I have heard, there is no limit to the number of devices that can be registered to an account and share a book.
