Nook isn't downloading puchases?

I happened to wake up at 4:45 this a.m. and the B&N website was not bogged down...my books downloaded quickly and I'm all set.  QUICK, download now while people are out shopping the after-Christmas sales and the website isn't busy!

I had no problem downloading a book this morning .

I purchase two Nooks one for myself and one for my wife. We have not experienced problems downloading books, however we have experienced other problems, which DN needs to address:

The Bookmark function does not work properly! Once you enter a bookmark and  turn your nook off, when you start it again, the bookmark may not appear. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens most of the time.

Also, the function of returning to the last page you have read does not work most of the time.

Of the two uinit that we ordered, one did not function properly (only displayed font on half of the screen).

The replacement unit tends to freeze up occasionally.

All in all, we like the Nook, but these key features need to be corrected if the device can be considered as a reliable book reader.

Nothing but problems here with this thing.  The billing section works GREAT!  BN has gotten more of my money since this thing was bought, but I haven't been able to read a darn thing!

Unfortunately, this machine isn't heavy enough to be used as a boat anchor, but it IS light enough to carry back to the store and get my money back!

Kindle, here I come.

The nook has fundemental problems. I have paid for and been charged for Faithful Spy. It shows up in my library on the nook but when I select it to read I get a white screen. Other books and previous purchases seem to work, so I know this is not some server overload problem.

I called customer support and have been on hold with music since 0800AM this morning. It is now 10:22AM and I still get the messages and music.

Well it now 10:23AM on Jan 9, 2010 and they are still playing music promising to get to me in the order recieved!

So I bought a book with my nook this evening, and it said it would download in a couple of minutes but it never did...and it doesn't say it's waiting in a que or anything like that...so i tried again and it charged me again...i really hope they're not stupid enough to charge me for the same book twice and then not download it to my nook.  I'm definitely calling in the a.m.
