Will artwork from other etailers show along the bottom of the nook?

Forgive me, I didn't know that I wanted an ereader till I opened my email from B&N and saw the nook.  I have yet to purchase an ebook and so far I am leaning toward the nook for an ereader.  One of the features that I like about the nook is the front cover artwork which scrolls along the bottom of the nook while you search for a book to read.  Do the other etailers for ebooks give you the artwork when you purchase and will it show on the nook?  Sorry if this has already been addressed, I am fascinated by all of the wonderful questions that others have asked.  Thank you.

I know, but when you side-along books from others, will their artwork show on the nook?

Or as an alternative question, if we will not see the artwork, what will we see?  Just text?  "Title Not Found"  A broken .jpg?  Or what?

There is NO rational reason it would not show the covers of side-loaded books....if not My pre-order will be cancelled. I have a WHOLE LOT of .pdf ebooks waiting to be side-loaded and read.
