I am having all kinds of issues with this. Sometimes just by logging in I can make it crash. I am also unable to delete any books from my ipod. If I touch "delete", all it does is scrolls downwards by a few books but the book to be deleted remains. Another issue is unlocking. I bought a book using a gift certificate and now I am unable to unlock it. Entering my CC# or gift certificate# does not do anything except to generate an error message. BN customer service is not of much help either. Any other experiences with this application? I have installed/deinstalled it many times without much success.![]()

If by "nook application" you mean the Barnes and Noble eReader, I've had it loaded on my iPod Touch for a couple of months now with no problems. I've read a couple of books using it, have deleted some that were loaded automatically when i installed it on my itouch and have downloaded/read others from the Banes and Noble free list. I've never had a crash. I know this isn't much help if yours it toast, but at least you can eliminate the program by itself. If you've reinstalled it several times and not had any luck, I'm at a loss for recommendation even. The iTouch doesn't have a lot of troubleshooting options built in and is pretty stable by itself.
Looking at the app on my iTouch, one thing you could try is to deregister your device from settings/accountSettings, then delete the app. Reload the app and re-register the iTouch. That's about as close to start as you can get for a do-over. BTW, I'm using version 1.1 now (didn't have any problems with 1.0 either tho).
Might want to also read through this thread for completeness: other B&N forum thread on iPod/iPhone reader
