I looked all over the boards and didn't see a post about this . . . if I subscribe to the New York Times, say, will I be able to do the crossword puzzle on the nook?
Thanks.

bklynsg
I cannot for the life of me find the post with the info in it but one of the moderators did say recently that there is no support 'yet' for crossword or sudukos or other puzzles.

Thanks for your inquiry bklynsg. nook editions of the New York Times (as well as other eNewspapers) will contain articles found in the print version, but will not include some images and tables. Also, some features such as the crossword puzzle, are currently not available.

pretty much works the same way as your computer (not tablet) screen - use a little marker & some WhiteOut
Think about all the tech issues involved.... screen navigation to each specific letter box, entering a letter, saving the letter.... and somehow coming back to the puzzle & re-displaying where you left off.
Pretty darn hard -
Lastly - as Josh mentioned, and most people don't know or forget... this is a text ebook reader. Therefore most of the periodical pubs will be created and sent to the eReader in a TEXTUAL format, with all the graphic content stripped out. It's not like reading their website version with a computer, it's only getting the textual content.
