nook "tagging"

I've scoured the forum, but I can't find any information on this topic. For non-B&N ebooks and the e-books from B&N that have no cover art, will there be a way to add them? This would be a similar feature to iTunes' ability to change album artwork on all its music files. I have many ebooks from Fictionwise, and a few from B&N that have no cover art. I would think this would make browsing by cover on my nook very difficult if only 4-5 books out of 60 have covers!

Hey there guenevol.  At this time we don't have anything planned for nook that would allow you to change or add cover art.  However, we appreciate your comment on this topic and it's something we may consider for future enhancements.

Thank you for your reply!

Since this is not currently an available feature, how will nook differentiate between all the ebooks with no cover art while browsing? Will they all be white space, or will the title of each work be displayed?

And thank you for your contributions to our message board!

If for some reason an eBook has no cover art, nook should display the eBook title so that you will be able to differentiate between them.

If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro you can add a cover page to those books without them by using the combine feature. This may not work for secured books (but they'd have covers right)....
