Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. On May 1, we’re saying goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

speaking of accessories....

I am looking for a bag of some sort to carry all my electronics and nook accesories.  I need something with plenty of pockets.  I kind of like the Vera Bradley bags but I was hoping to get something for a little less.  If any one has any ideas, let me know!

Thanks!!

I am looking for the same thing. Right now I have the Nook in a large Clinique make-up bag and the light, charger and a screen cleaner in a travel make-up bag. Fits perfectly but I need something with a handle.

Re: speaking of accessories....

I don't have a nook YET...have to save up for one, but I did a quick Google search on carrying cases for the nook and you won't believe this..Amazon has one!  http://www.amazon.com/Deluxe-Carrying-Case-Barnes-Cleaning/dp/B002U48NEO

I want a nook so bad I can almost taste it.  Even those negative posts aren't going to deter me!  Until I get a job though, unemployment won't cover the cost and my bills.  SIGH!  :smileysad:

This isn't sold by Amazon.  It is through a 3rd party.

Re: speaking of accessories....

Oops, my mistake.  It's by Accessory Genie...but at least it's an option.

Re: speaking of accessories....

I just picked up this "built" case for a 7-10 inch netbook at my local Staples.

Can't post a picture.  I'm thinking of using it for a funky purse!

thinkgeek.com has some good stuff, this bag in particular will hold all kinds of things and it is extremely versatile.  It's not really for the fashion-conscious, but it is very functional.
