When you the finish the novel, please feel free to use this space to share your first overall impressions.  In your view, does the book "live up" to its "classic" designation?  Why or why not?  Did you enjoy the story overall?  What aspects, in particular?  Were there elements to the writing that you found puzzling or problematic?
