Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Important Message to All Users from Kevin (Admin.)

As reported over in the Announcements board, we're about to make some changes to the Book Clubs registration and sign-in process.

Beginning in early September, you'll need to sign in to your Barnes & Noble.com account (rather than your Book Clubs account) to participate in the discussions here.

If you have a Barnes & Noble.com account registered to the same email address as your Book Clubs account, you won't need to do a thing! You'll automatically be prompted to sign in to your Barnes & Noble.com account when you try to post a message or take other actions on the message boards.

But if you don't have a Barnes & Noble.com account -- or if your Barnes & Noble.com account uses a different email address -- you'll have to take one of the following steps or lose your Book Clubs User Name and account access.

If you don't have a Barnes & Noble.com account, please create one using the email address already registered to your Book Clubs account.

You can find your Book Clubs account email in the Personal Profile section of the Book Clubs site.

If you have a Barnes & Noble.com account with a different email address from your Book Clubs account, please change one of them so they match exactly.

You can update the email address on your Book Clubs account by following the "Change my E-mail Address" instructions on the Personal Profile page.

You can update the email address on your Barnes & Noble.com account by signing in to your account and following the instructions under "Change Your Name, Email, or Password."

Please do not put this off! Once the changes take place, we will not be able to match your accounts. It is important that you take a few minutes now to ensure that you'll have continued access to your Book Clubs User Name and account details.

Thanks in advance for your patience and cooperation during this change.

We'll answer questions about the process here, and post updates on the Announcements Board as they become available.
