Sad, wonderful, all Kafka is depressing, but worth to read. In his work, specially "The metamorphosis" you can tell what was for Kafka to grow up with a father that hates his own son.
There are two ways of doing things : my way and the right way.
And they are both the same!
And they are both the same!

Welcome to this conversation. You're right that so much of Kafka's drama is the conflict between father and son.
