I love the figure of the heron through the stories, how it doesn't even feel a part of linear time.
Is it especially a figure that relates to love, or to the idea of being watched over, taken care of? How do you see it? What does it mean that some characters almost touch it, but not quite?
I'm also curious how other animals play a role in the stories. The rabbit at Lion Park, for example. Is this the rabbit from another famous children's story--the Alice stories?
