Lisa Scottoline's novels are, at their heart, always about justice, family, friends, and love. Do you find that you can identify more with her characters as they navigate the twists of her page-turning plots because know so much about their backgrounds and their personal relationships?
Note: This discussion topic is particularly suitable for readers who have only read the first part of Daddy's Girl, through the end of Chapter Sixteen. If you wish to discuss plot elements introduced later in the book, consider posting in a separate thread.

There is certainly always alot of informaton on Lisa's characters and their background to make the story so interesting. A page turner this book is along with all the rest of her books. I will echo the famous words of her fans, she writes of really strong women and you can definitely read this immediately in her books.
