can anyone help me with the name of this book??

It's about a kid who can read minds and is on the run from an agency who created a man with the same abilities as him. He earns money by getting into poker games and reading the other players minds. He meets a woman who is a reporter and can also read minds, but she doesn't know it. I remember her name was linda and the mans name was something along the lines of rogen. i know that he was in some sort of prison. Oh, and the book jumps from one persons story to the next until they all meet up. I thought it was called mind storm but that wasn't it. please help...

it sounds like an interesting book but no im sorry i can not help with this title. in my book, theres a 6 year old girl who can read minds and command people to do things. you sould try out the Maximum Ride series.

It doesn't sound familiar as a book, but it does bring to mind a movie starring Dennis Quaid and Kate Capshaw, "Dreamscape". The info doesn't state that it was based on a book--not that I could easily see, anyway.
