When i have rubbish feelings,(like mad,upset,sad, or confused) i like to pick up one of the books and read it. Sometimes its just one part, other times it's the whole series, but when in crapville read thourgh them. Trust me, you'll feel loads better.

Oh, it's sooo true! Every time I read one of the books it just makes me so happy all the time... mind you, I forget easily about all the things I should be thining about, but, really, It's just amazing.

I just love it too much! I wish these series would never end
Hopefully J.K.Rowling makes a wonderful last book for this!

This is certainly one of my favorite aspects of the series. It's just a great escape. Even dipping into one of the heavy/sad/tense stretches of the narrative--just getting wrapped up for awhile is a mood-breaker, isn't it?

i just finished book number 6, and I am stumper by something. Lupin told Harry that that the Half Blood Prince couldn't be his father because the book was from 50 years before, and Harry's dad was not in school at that time. But the book ended up being Snape's, who was in school at the same time as Harry's dad, doesn't make any sense!! help!

Hermione figured this out. The book must have first belonged to Eileen Prince, Snape's mother, who had gone to school 50 years earlier.

i went to my room and then read hp and the ootp i felt beter

I have read each book at least 12-13 times, except maybe HBP, but I've probably read GoF and OOtP 16-17 times. I think OOtP has a dog-ear every other page. I have had at least 3 copies of each, because I read them to death!

I think the reason everyone loves to read the HP series when they are down is that it picks up your spirits. I am a married mother of 2 and I get down quite a lot because of fights with the kids and the hubby. I mean we don't fight all the time, but everyone has their moments.

I am reading DH slowly so that I don't miss anything. It helps me pick up my spirits at bedtime.
