Every now and again, I cheat and visit a forum set up at NaNoWriMo. They have a sub-forum called Reference Desk. Writers ask each other technical questions for their novels. Here's a few topics that caught my eye:

- Jail time for stealing a car
- Reasons for a burnt arm to be amputated
- Clever ways to kill someone in a hot tub
- Drugging a circus lion
- Getting Shot
- Neutron stars
- Habits of bad cooks
Many of these threads have answers. Just sharing.
