Re: Favorite Book

-Feed

-Brave New Girl

-Perks of Being a Wallflower

-The Book of Lost Things

-Pride and Prejudice (of course)

-Oryx and Crake

I like books that are in turns thought provoking and heart wrenching. The way I look at it, if a book makes you feel both (if it works your brain and your heart) it's done it's job. =)

Re: Favorite Book

Push Not the River  Are you up for historical fiction set in Poland during the eighteenth century?

PUSH NOT THE RIVER is based on the diary of a Polish countess who lived during a very turbulent time.

It's a story of love and war and a rivalry between Anna and her cousin.

Family saga would describe it, I guess. At St. Martin's Press request, AGAINST A CRIMSON SKY provided an exciting sequel.

The finale to the trilogy is in the works

Re: Favorite Book

This kind of question is always hard because I enjoy so many books.  But this is also a great way too get introduced to books that I might not have considered.

Here are a few of my favorites:

The Strain - Trilogy by Guillermo del Toro and Chuck Hogan

The Hollows series - Kim Harrison

Frankenstein - Dean Koontz's series

Skinners series - Marcus Pelegrimas

(I apparently like books that come in a series)

The Dark Tower series - Stephen King

Necronomicon: the weird tales of H. P. Lovecraft

Some seriously good reading here!!
