Ha! There's something to being so busy that can really make someone productive. All that urgency and the thought that there might not be time later. No time to settle into comfy clothes and listen to several tracks of a cd that evokes the writing mood!

Hello, I'm lingling-cat and I'm an unpublished poet. 

     I  don't how to get published or who to go to because not of my poems are short but  even those that are long do have a message that is plain to see. 

     As matter of fact my poems are not filled with imagery but are plain enough that most people can read them and do not need to interpret the meanings or the messages contained in them.

     I have never been part of a group before .  Can you help me ?

 I must add that I've tried to use imagery in my poems but it doesn't work for me.  I'm not that sort of writer. I'm the sort who has an inspiration at 3 am and has to get my notes written in longhand and revised about 100 times before I'm is satisfied enough to go the computer and even then I find myself making corrections.

My name is Tiffany and I am in seveth grade.  I have been writing stories since I was five.  I love reading, and by the time I was in 3rd grade, my reading level was sixth grade.  I have no idea what it is now.

Hi everyone

As you can see I am Josephine, but I am usually known as Jo.  I am brand new to this site so I thought I would begin by just saying 'hello' and telling you a bit about me.

I feel that I must be one of the oldest people on here as I am 53 years young

Anyway, I hope that won't put anyone off too much )

I am happily married with 6 children (3 of whom are step children). I also have 1 beautiful granddaughter plus 2 more on the way, to be born later in the year.  There is also my maltese-**bleep**zu, Jessica, who is responsible for any timewasting that I engage in during the day when I really should be being more productive.

I have always loved to read, and read I do   A few years ago, while I was at school, I used to enjoy writing; I haven't actually written anything much since then.  Life took over!  Yes I know, that is an excuse and it just isn't good enough!

Very recently I enrolled in a creative writing course so that I can gradually worm my way back into good habits.  So far I am working on my first assignment which is basically a personal profile.  So, as you can see I am quite green or wet behind the ears, whichever way you would like to put it.

I am very keen, extremely excited and with the exception of a 4 week break after next week while I go into hospital to have surgery, I shall be quite busy reading, writing and hopefully posting on here, so that other writers with little or loads of experience can give me some tips and advice.

Jeez, I feel so tiny here. Um okay So Hi-Lo my Name is Valerie M. Ha I'm 15 and basically shy. Well unless you get to know me. Anyhow I'm very knew to B&N I rarely like to post my stories cause I'll feel like people will say stop writing your horrible at it. Um well I haven't been posting cause for one I just finished Freshy (freshmen) year at highschool and English honors is hectic and I'm too tired to write in my journal\blog\diary. So yeah God I totally sounded very boring. Which I'm hardly ever. I don't ever seem to finish my writings but I hope my new story(HALFLING) will continue to grow cause I really want to um yeah.... God I feel awkward Bye?
