Welcome Shelia, I'm Stephanie aka shadowcat, I'll answer either, anyways the writing room always loves seeing new faces and, I'm sure you'll be a fine addition to the room.  Looking forward to reading some of you posts on the forum later on.  I know how college can get very busy, I'm a student myself.  My majors are english and journalism.  I got tests next week, when are your tests?

Thanks for the welcome, Stephanie!  My Spring term just started this week, so I have a couple of weeks before I have to cram for a test (sigh of relief!).  I've been going to school for two years, but because I'm going just part-time I'm am only half way there.  Like my writing, it, too, is a snail's pace -- but well worth it!

What a cool group. I write romantic paranormal, fantasy, historical, young adult and contemporary romance. I have worked as a freelance writer and written many medical, home improvement and parenting articles as well as worked as a ghostwriter. I love to talk about writing and help and encourage writers of all ages. My first six books were published at small presses. I recently published my latest book here on PubIt, now taking the Indie route. I have to say that it is very exciting. I have a new sense of freedom. Freedom to take my characters wherever I want to take them and freedom to design my own book cover. I have a blog dedicated to writers and readers. I interview writers, poets and reviewers. I love to feature new writers on my blog and you DO NOT need to be published to share your writing excerpts on my blog. I feature ALL genres. Hi everyone, my name's Robert and I'm a twenty-eight year old writer from London. I recently published my first novel, The Cambridge List, an urban fantasy set in Cambridge University.

I can't think of much else to say about myself (which probably speaks volumes!), but I'm looking forward to exploring the Writing Room, and hearing about what everyone else is reading/writing.

Hello all, I have been lurking for a few weeks and just thought I would stop by and introduce myself. My real world name is Carla, I am a ICU RN, I read and write as a outlet for my stress. I am not a professional writer and have no plans to change that.  Mostly just write to myself for myself, as if that makes any sense. Looking forward to sharing and reading with you all

Hi I'm 18 I like the outdoors and I've always liked to read I never seen my self writing ever. I realy did not like to write. Till september before last. I began scribling out a character with my personality how she was a heroine and tamed a zantar(black tiger) page one went by p10,20,45, the story had a death grip on me so was the birth of a new obsession I hope one day to publish it. I would be humbled if it became a best seller but I'm realy writing for the pesonal achievement.

Hello, I am amazed at all your life's achievements thus far. I hope to work with you in the future. I am currently 17 and I am going to Fairleigh Dickinson University majoring in Creative Writing and Education. I aspire to write novels and series of fiction, mystery, inspirational and anything in relation to life in general. My first love is poetry and I write my own along with quotations. I also want to be a lyricist because I love music. I plan on teaching at elementary level to get an idea of what interest children in which I can write for their enjoyment. I also love giving advice so in the future I hope to get a doctorate in counseling psychology, but writing will always be my first love. I would appreciate any advice to help me reach my career.
