Hello everyone!!

I just wanted to make this thread so poem people can post.

(including not so poem people)

So people who don't really understand or poeple who don't really like poems, just watch and see! 

There will be lots of different types of peoms I will be posting(I don't know about everyone else because no one likes writing on my threads)But if you want to post please do so.

If I'm gone for few days I'm sorry!

But for now I'll wait and see if anyone, posts on my thread.

okay everyone I'll write a haiku for you!

haiku:short three-line peom consisting of syllables of 5,7, and 5.

Clouds slowly moving,

The Fuji Mountain standing, 

The flowers swaying by wind.

Who Am I?

Liquid twilight on a bitter winter night.

Snow deploys and I cloak the world.

The tattered dark raiment of a savage summer storm,

Shy and retiring.

Regal and ominous.

Constantly changing hues.

Never visible in the true light of day.

Twilight and the dawn.

The gloom of a tempest

Within these shrouded bounds

I can be found.

Smoky and alluring.

A visible lullaby.

Few flowers claim my vivid depths.

Those that do abide in exotic lands

Or deep within the forest glades.

A stone of countless facets

Neither diamond, emerald, ruby, or sapphire.

A flag of war waving strong and proud.

The symbol of the wounded.

A sign of death.

A color of fathomless depths.

Of dragons and faeries

But never of stars or snow.

Of kings and nobles

Of fallen empires and slain heroes.

Who am I?

No.  Black in actuality is not a color, it is the complete absence of color and light along the visible spectrum.

Okay fine..

No speaks up these days.....

Well here's something I wrote:

Waiting for Rain

I sit here with the wind in my ear, 

waiting for the rain to come.

I lay here with the grass under me,

their blades of honor, 

poke me,

as I wait for rain to come.

I count the days,

the months, 

the years,

the decades, 

as time rolls by, 

waiting for the day of rain to come.

Now I stand here in the middle of the rain,

fragile, aged, and small.....

Finally the rain came.
