I'm looking for someone who will before anything be honest with me even if it is not good. I want someone who is going to say (this chapter...sucks) if it does. Or who can think of ways to improve it. Catch that dang misspelled word I might not catch. Say this needs a comma when I miss one. I have a habit of telling and not showing, I can see it on others work but have a hard time on my own. If I have to do rewrites I want to know it is OK to send it back for review 3 time or more if necessary. LOL um think that's it.
You might get involved on the board here--post some of your work, get feedback, give feedback on others' work. That will give you an opportunity to get to know everyone and perhpas you'll find a good match that way. Good luck on your search! It's such an important part of the process.
