My B&N

Some of you may have noticed the “My B&N” profile page, where you can share information about yourself, make lists, and share reviews. I’ll be building mine up in the next week or so, and I hope you do the same. This can be a great extension of our discussion here—to see what others have read and what they thought of it. Perhaps we could share reviews on books about the craft of writing.

Note: all the privacy settings on “My B&N” were reset to the “private” default so if you want yours to be “public”—so we can all see what you’ve put there—you’ll need to change that setting.

Re: My B&N

I feel there is a false poet among you. I will not give names but there is someone in this writing room  writing out other poeples poem and claiming them as theirs.  I have read some of these poems elswhere and plus the one who is writing them has their true work up too and the difference between them is aparent.  one is from an published author and the other from a young person just starting out.

That is good to know. I hope that this person realizes what they are doing.

They do take a bit of time, but can be fun to update and revisit. You can nose around other writers' profiles, too!

Re: My B&N

Sadly, I do also. I've killed more trees than I think I'm allowed to. I feel just awful about it.

really, really I'm going to go tie myself to the next Poplar I see, I just won't allow this to go on. And I dug up the tree in the front yard for no good reason, It's gone not even used as firewood, but if anyone sees it tell it I'm very sorry. I'm wearing cotton but that's not so bad as that is a recylable products. Oh, I contribute greatly to the smog, I believe L.A. will never forgive me; I hope they do 'cause Friday is Casual Fridays and the concert or Hollywood Bowl, I don't remember now. I need a cushion, wait I have a cushion actually two that I use for meditation, I broke my original and that one was from Grenwich Village N.Y. and now it's in SAn Diego. go figure. my name is actually jason, don't bother to memorize, I have it written down somewhere. I need another cup of coffee, and a cigarette, and I cannot type on neither. Does anyone have that skill, No very impossible, this is the abottom of the page.

Re: My B&N

I cannot remember exactly: this is Audrey H. in Roman Holiday.

If I were dead and buried

And I heard your voice.

Beneath the Sod, my Heart and body dust.

I would still rejoice!

Re: My B&N

I think My B&N is a good way to encourage kids, teens, even adults to read more and get more involved in books. You can see what books are new, what's hot, bestsellers... Etc. I started my B&N in the beginning of the summer and I love it. I can keep track of the books I've read and haven't read and I can find books to  add to my library so I can read those later. (:

and by the way... I like your B&N

Do any of you write mysteries?

Hello,

I'm a mystery author and interested in how many folks on this list write in the mystery genre.
