-The curse-
Hidden beneath the winters snow,
boiling under the blooms of spring,
seething, waiting, watching,
anger waits for those who's weak.
Seeping into those that give,
it darkens and corrupts its host,
sinking claws deepening their hold,
it boils, stews, turns the mind.
Twisting truths, spinning lies,
the perfect curse,
with ney a cure,
except the light.
Embrace it with your soul,
and never fall,
as the weak so often do,
for everyone makes the choice.
Duck tape is silver.

How do I know you ask,
of coming winters,
of coming springs and falls,
know of the summers?
How do I know you ask,
of coming rains and droughts,
of coming quakes and eruptions,
know of floods from evil waves?
How do I know you ask,
of where the lost animals are,
of where the animals migrate,
know of their habits and secrets?
How do I know you ask,
of all the wants of animals,
of all their fears and wishes,
know of the whispers of the forest?
How could I know you ask,
I tell only my name,
for it is all you will know,
for I am Mother of Nature.
Duck tape is silver.

-I Awake-
I awake to silence,
not bird nor dog,
people nor wagon,
my mind screams in pain.
I push out of the mud,
mud mixed with blood,
the acidic smoke burns my eyes,
the silence pounds my ears.
The sight breaks my heart,
my home, my family, my life,
everything destroyed,
everybody gone.
I fall back,
slashing in the mud,
I have nothing,
I have no one.
Something deep,
something burning,
I stand, I roar,
I will take revenge.

Reposting this one.
-Life of Games-
A game of joy,
A game of pain,
To laugh, to cry.
A game of struggle,
A game of ease,
To shoulder, to take.
A game of ill,
A dame of health,
To fight, to keep.
A game of confusion,
A game of understanding,
To ask, to lean.
A game of life,
A game of death,
To thrive or embrace...

-Trust-
A golden ring,
entwined in silver vines,
circles around,
around a chosen few.
A few I hold dear,
for they are always there,
listening, chiming, teaching,
there when non else are.
the few I trust,
with my embers,
my embers of friendship,
are dear indeed.
As same as family,
for they have shown,
for they have given,
the world to me.

- The Lone Road -
Along a empty road,
A road as dark as my mood,
I walk without aim,
Through the fog and mist.
I look up to see a silhouette,
Swaying in the wind,
I run reaching out,
Only to find a misty shadow.
Along a silent road,
Adrift without a care,
Without a friend,
Without a family.
I see a flicker of light,
Within the endless dark,
I fight though the brush and thorns,
My arms bleeding,
Only for a shimmering leaf.
Alone in the dark,
I slump against a tree,
Rain battering my face,
I give in to the dark.
I close my eyes,
Weeping in pain,
A bright light,
Steals my breath,
I awake to dawn's glory,
Happy, thankful,
It was only a dream.

-Sweet Waters-
.
Hardened stone ,
circles around,
protecting that,
of the deepest well.
,
Cracks and crumbles,
from batterings and acids,
still the stone holds true,
to that of the well,
where the sweetest waters,
will always flow.

-Heart-
It comes from within,
so fragile ,
so strong,
so breakable,
so ageless,
it comes from within,
its own rythum,
its own beat,
it is capable,
of love,
hope,
pain,
joy,
anger,
and youth's energy,
it comes from within,
with the softest glows,
to the darkest abiss,
it is deep within,
the heart,
but it can still reach,
out across enless miles,
of land,
or sea,
it comes within,
it can be warm,
or cold,
it can be bitter,
or sweet,
hollow,
or bubbling,
it comes from within,
always felt,
never seen,
but it is always there,
with a steady beat,
as I for you.
