It’s common for discussions of creative writing to intersect with many other topics—morality, human nature, specialized knowledge, jargon, and so forth. As a result, I’ve kept a very generous definition of what’s considered “on topic” here in the Writing Room. However, it seems as if more and more threads are going quite far a field, not connecting to writing, the creative process, the writer’s life, or publishing at all. I’d like to keep our focus here strong. So, as a reminder to everyone, please keep your posts on topic. I’ve moved a few of the more recent off-topic threads to help out with this.
I think this is a fun, spirited, and productive community. I’m glad you’re all here making this such an exciting place to visit, get to know other writers, and give and receive feedback. Let’s keep that going.
