Write your memoir in six words.
Does that sound like too much of a challenge? Take a look at Smith Magazine’s Six-Word Memoirs project and some of these six-word memoirs:
“Fifteen years since last professional haircut.” - Dave Eggers
“Well, I thought it was funny.” - Stephen Colbert
“I still make coffee for two.” –Zak Nelson
“Never really finished anything, except cake.” – Carletta Perkins
“Former child start seeks love, employment.” –Justin D. Taylor
"Asked to quiet down; spoke louder.” –Wendy Lee
There are books, to boot, if anyone’s interested in more, more, more:
Six-Word Memoirs on Love and Heartbreak
I Can't Keep My Own Secrets: Six Word Memoirs by Teens Famous and Obscure
Now, what’s your memoir in six words?

This is so much fun! Okay, I'll give it a try.
1. So many words, so little time.
2. Obsessive compulsive free thinker needs help.
3. Racing thoughts in a noisy mind.
4. Teacher by day, writer by night.
5. Half blessing, half curse, that's Shannon.
I think #2 is my personal favorite!![]()
