Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

We Were Fine...And Then The Ride Broke Down

I think we've seen the end comin, we just didn't know when.

The girl I've been lookin' for, just bought a ticket.

She's walkin' this way, I gotta go.

Don't take this so personally.

You were never one to say, this was ever really serious.

It was just a bad case, of needin' someone.

You were a temporary ride,

Set on a mount that was destined to go down.

We were young, we couldn't see what went wrong.

But you can only go so far, when you run off the tracks.

This was fun, and it was only a matter of time,

Before we hit the ground.

Now it's over, this park closed down.

The good thing, about livin' on the edge.

Is waiting, for the shock for wear off.

But a change of pacem is the name of the game.

So just pack up your bags, and just move on.

This was no ordinary love affair.

We cut caught up in the rafters, of our own desires.

You were always ready, to try the next thing,

Before we even started on the first.

I know its hard to forget what happened,

All the lies, truths, and dares, that we shared.

Once in a while you have to take a break.

I think it's time, you take a break from me.

You were a temporary ride,

Set on a mount that was destined to go down.

We were young, we couldn't see what went wrong.

But you can only go so far, when you run off the tracks.

This was fun, and it was only a matter of time,

Before we hit the ground.

Now it's over, this park closed down.

And now were headin' for, the end of the line.

I can see the pathway, we'll either crash or we'll die.

This was a stupid, to begin with anyway.

I guess sometimes you never know, until you get hurt.

You were a temporary ride,

Set on a mount that was destined to go down.

We were young, we couldn't see what went wrong.

But you can only go so far, when you run off the tracks.

This was fun, and it was only a matter of time,

Before we hit the ground.

Now it's over, this park closed down.

Poor girl!  It makes me sad.
