This is my first time posting on here. I've posted this on several other websites I'm active at and a lot of people enjoyed it. ^.^ It's also very, very old; I wrote it back in 2006. xD
Classical
She draws the bow across the strings,
The room humming with sadness.
Tears play in her eyes
As her fingers tango
Where blood and sweat once pooled.
And like the falling snow, she is lost
In memories she awoke.
His fingers rush over worn keys,
As he is swept away in a torment of notes.
Beneath hushed words,
He whispers he forgot to tell you
That he loved you.
Under blue eyes you can barely see
The trailing tear.
His hand is raised, commanding silence
The audience waiting without a single breath.
With a flick of his wrist,
A long wail draws out
As they raise up to play.
She draws her bow across the strings,
Sadness humming in the room.
He bears down on worn keys,
As he whispers he loved you.
With the flick of his wrist,
They all begin to play.
