This is another poem that I began writng about a year ago but never finished. I found it and decided to finish it. This is what i came up with. Hope you all like it. Let me know what you think...
Healing
In times like these I pray
for a better and happier day
For now I search for words to say
That can express the way I feel.
Because only words can heal
Everything that I must conceal
My sadness is locked inside
Where my hurt resides
But I must learn to hide
All my sorrow, guilt and pain
That still lingers and remains
It drives me insane
But I have learned to survive
I found my reason to strive
And my purpose of being alive
It lies within my healing heart
Providing me with a new start
And forcing the pain to depart
