Fixed Layout Epubs for Nook  - what's the secret?

I have a fixed layout book which has been formatted for Kindle and epub.  The epub works fine on the Google epub reader, in Sigil  and so on.

But NOT ON THE NOOK. The file was exported from InDesign and I have also tried Sigil as mentioned and Calibre.

The text frames are not positioned correctly and the text is gigantic.

I know this is not a technical forum, but I hope that someone here will have a clue - and the motivation to make it easier to make books for the Nook.

So, what it the secret to how the Nook reads epubs that would cause this giant text?

      Any ideas?
