    Can't Read My Books

      I have at least 4 books I can't read.  2 samples I used to be able to read, but now they don't open any more, 2 purchased books that never worked and I want them to work, I don't want a refund, I want to read them.

       

      I have tried archiving and then unarchiving and I've tried soft booting my nookcolor (holding for 5 seconds until it shuts off and then powering back on).

       

      I also can't read them on nookpc on my computer so I don't think it is isolated to my nookcolor.

       

      Has anyone had this issue and resolved it?

          Im having the same problem..even books that I have already downloaded and stared to read, its like I never downloaded them, but when I click on them it says already purchased, but still cant open them

            I'm unable to downnload to my nookcolor also. It downloaded fine beeffore that update. It giives me the message, "Sorry this item is not supported on this device yet" but the book was MADE ESPECIALLY FOR NOOKCOLOR devices. Its a kids book, I'm getting so frustrated!

                Do you get that error when trying to dowload from the NC's library or home screen, or when trying to download to the NC via the NC's web-browser?

                     I have attempted to download this e-book through every way you mentioned and still get the error. Yesterday I called tech support and they guy had me deregister and re-register my device. When it started up, it actually downloaded the e-book this time but still will not load. I click on the e-book and it goes as far as the black screen with the line in the center as if it's going to load but the bar never fills up to load the e-book. I left it on for 30 minutes waiting (as per tech guys suggestion) but no e-book.
                    I believe it was ever since the update to 1.0.1 that it has not been able to download e-books from Barnes & Noble or anywhere. However, I cannot stop my nook color from updating to that software version since I cannot reregister without an Internet connection and as soon as it connects, the update is automatically installed.

                    I really love my nook color, but this is making me crazy.

                  I have a similar problem-I downloaded a book on February 23.  When I went to read it, last week, it came up on the purchase screen.  I thought that maybe I didn't fully process the transaction and pushed confirm again.  It told me that they book was already in my library.  So how do I read it?
