It's been spoken about a few times on the forums. I too have the problem. But nobody's ever actually responded if the problem has been noted or will be fixed. I'm returning this Nook to the store and exchanging it to hopefully fix the problem.
Yeah, I will be visiting the not so local B&N & checking out a new unit before I leave the store. I need to make a list of all the things that have been noted here & give the new unit a good going over. Things like dead/stuck pixels, post sleep audio, touch screen functionality etc.
