    Dreaded ERROR 010 when starting nook for PC on Windows 7

      I am getting "error 010" on my Win7 Enterprise (32-bit) laptop when I try to start nook for PC. I am using the latest version (2.5.5.9347). I contacted help desk - they went thru the usual script - restart the machine, reinstall software etc. etc. and nothing fixed the problem. They said they couldn't help me any further claiming that it is a problem with my machine. I checked the firewall config and compared it to a machine where nook is working properly - and I don't see any differences in IB or OB rules. I have seen previous entries on the same error in this forum, which were supposedly fixed in a Feb 2011 release. That version is much older than the one I am running. Any suggestions on fixing this are much appreciated
