Instructions on how to reset your color nook

    Tabbycat-101

Resetting my color nook solved the problem I was having.  It stopped displaying web pages.

It was only showing a blank white screen.  Turned out my memory was full and had to be cleared

and you do that by resetting the color nook.   Here are the instructions for how to reset your

nook from Barnes and Noble support.   Perhaps all you need to do is reset and your problems

go away like mine did.  Can't hurt you to try it anyway.

Thank you for writing to us regarding your issue with your NOOK Color.
It is our pleasure to serve you.

      >From the problem you described, you may need to refresh the digital
content on your NOOK Color. Please follow these easy steps:

? Turn off your NOOK Color completely by pressing and holding down the
power button for about 3-5 seconds.
      ? Tap ?Power Off?.
? Depress the power button and the home button at the same time for 20
      seconds.
? After one minute, turn your NOOK Color.

If the above troubleshooting steps do not resolve your issue, We
recommend that you perform the Hard Reset on your NOOK Color.

The following procedure details the process to Hard Reset your NOOK
Color device. Doing so will perform a factory reset of NOOK Color which
deregisters your device as well as erases all local content such as
contacts, sideloaded documents, personal information, wishlists, 4 digit
passcodes, etc.  It is recommended you back up all wanted files to an SD
card or computer. All Barnes & Noble content will be downloadable upon
      re-registering

      To Hard Reset NOOK Color:

      1. Hold the power button down until NOOK Color is powered off, ignoring
      the "Power off" prompt.
      2. After Your NOOK Color is powered off hold the "NOOK Home Key" down
then simultaneously hold down the "Power" button, release the buttons
immediately after the ?Read Forever? logo disappears.
      3. If successful, a grey NOOK Logo will appear and the screen will
refresh momentarily and flash yellow. A prompt will appear asking if you
would like to perform a ?Factory Reset,? Tap the "NOOK Home key" to
confirm. Tap the "Home key" again to begin the process.
      4. After a few minutes your device will reset and re-install all
necessary software. Once completed, you will have to register the device
      again.
