    O'Reilly books unreliable on nook

I've downloaded several samples of O'Reilly technical books

The following samples when opened result in the message "Sorry, unable to open this book"

      Ubuntu by Robin Nixon

Learning PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript by Robin Nixon

      PHP by Peter MacIntyre

However other Book samples from the same publisher open fine and are wonderfully designed for use on the nook

PHP Cookbook By Adam Trachtenberg and David Skylar

Learning PHP 5 by David Skylar

      I'm currently running the nook's 1.4.0 software

I've removed and re-placed the samples from my account so either the samples are corrupted or the books are not nook compatible

Has anyone had similar problems with O'Reilly Books on the nook?

I've got a couple of O'Reilly books on my Nook and haven't had any problems.  But I didn't buy any of them from B&N and bought them directly from O'Reilly.  It could just be problems with the samples.  I don't see where you can download a sample directly from O'Reilly though, although I did notice they have a buy 2 get 1 free offer going.
