    Defective lines goes through NOOK display

      I have a Simple Touch (with Glowlight) NOOK that is a little over a year old. When I turned it on today, I noticed that it has a dead/defective line going horizontally through the display! Is there a way to reset the display or do anything about it? Thanks!

          This is the forum for the Nook Tablet, not the NST/G.

           

          But, to answer your question, it sounds like a defective screen if the line is always there. If it's still under warranty and you have a store handy, take it in.  Otherwise, call Customer Service and have them replace it.  If no longer under warranty, you're kinda SOL.
