Mods: Please "sticky" an updated list of apps.

      Dear B&N,

It's basic marketing. If you want more of our money, a list of apps and their prices would surely help. I am done scrolling through the apps on my NC trying to decide which ones are new.

      So, one less potential customer.

A Mod can simply add to the list each week. At the pace you are releasing apps, it would only take a minute or two.

      Thanks!

I hear ya. I usually wait until someone post an announcement.

Agreed.  Over the first month, apps have been added at the average rate of 4 per week.  I think they can keep up with that deluge.  :smileywink:

If the rate later picks up to a significant degree, then a less manual approach may be called for.

I thought that the Google Market and Amazon app store were pretty awful for searching(extraordinarily surprising from a company built on a search engine wrt the official store), but at least BOTH list new apps prominently. (And Amazon has that crazy idea of giving an app away every day which has me checking it daily as I've score some pretty awesome apps, e.g. Tune In Radio Pro(why didn't the NC ship with this instead of the next to useless Pandora? leat they could've done was given us premium Pandora access if they were going to bother), Zenonia 2, Weatherbug Elite, adfree Angry Birds(I thoroughly detest these games as the most repetitious ever), etc.

Either way I just don't care about the B&N app store as they're a day late and a dollar short since I'm already invested in the official app store and Amazon's.

i.e. it's just better for me to root and at least install Amazon app store and possibly gapps for Google Market as I've paid and free apps in both already and it's pointless to me to buy from the B&N app store when it's only accessible with the NC meaning that IF I were to buy something that it'd only be available on my NC which I hardly ever use other than as an awesomely hefty paperweight...

I'm amazed by the effort you've put into keeping track of the app list.  But even accessing your heroic efforts requires the use of a computer and the scrolling to find the red apps.  Eventually you're probably going to get sick of this.

As mentioned above, I've stopped looking for apps on my NC because they haven't created a filter to show newly released apps.  The menu has "Release Date", but it doesn't do anything as far as I can tell.

Having a Mod take over the task of listing new apps here isn't the answer, the info needs to show on the NC.

I agree with you about the solution needed.  I will happily update my list as often as possible, but the truth is that it's not possible for me to always do so as soon as an app is released.  Right now, the most I can commit to is once or twice a week.  My list wasn't originally created to help everyone find the new apps; it was created to serve as a cost comparison between the B&N shop and the Android Market because so many weree under the impression that all of the B&N apps were available on the Android Market for free.  I was curious, so decided to find out if it was true.  :smileyhappy:
