I've had this problem too. I signed up for the 1 week trial a couple days ago and it was playing shows just fine until last night when it "stopped working", for no apparent reason. The ad plays, and then just a blank screen...no show. Sometimes it just sits there, and other times it will shut down and go back to the profile screen with a message that says "Unfortunately, Hulu Plus has stopped." Last night it was saying "Unfortunately, the process Hulu Plus [or hulu.com maybe?] has stopped working."
I've tried shutting the tablet down then restarting, logging out of Hulu Plus then back in, nothing works so far. Gonna cancel my Hulu account if nothing fixes it.
Should I uninstall it? Would I be then able to reinstall it from B & N and for free? It came pre-loaded.
Any help greatly appreciated :-(
I have had the exact same problem with Huluplus. After the commercial, you get a black screen where your video is supposed to load but nothing happens. This only started a couple of days ago. I tried deleting the cache in the Applications Settings and tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling and logging in and out of Hulu. Nothing works. I have an iPhone in addition to my Nook HD+ and Hulu works just fine on the iPhone.
Which version are you running...free trial or paid subscription? It looks as if RRin is running paid. I'm running the paid version and am having no problems using the PlayStore app.
Also, how strong is your wifi signal? it takes a strong signal to stream video.
Have you tried changing your video settings in HULU from HIGH to LOW?
I have the paid subscription to hulu. I have tried changing viideo to low, but still have a black screen staring at me.
If I remember correctly, google play doesn't play well with nook. Has this changed?
