    My Color Nook

Picked it up this morning and have some observations.  And perhaps you smart folks can educate me:

      1. Email.  I can read my gmail, start a new one, enter addresses and subjects but it won't write in the body of the email.  Any idea why??

      2. Landscape.  Net and some other things go landscape when I rotate the device but not my books.  Again, is that normal?

      3. Color.  Excellent!

      4. Touch screen. Excellent!

      5.  Speed on my home wireless.  Excellent!

      6.  Wireless on phone.  Haven't been able to get it to connect there yet.  Working on it.

Thats where I am right now.  More to come.

Yes, it is normal  For the most part, kids books will be able to be viewed in landscape.  Non kids books (adult/ teens) are title by title- some may be able to while most probably wont.  I don't know the exact reason why, but I would guess it is how the book is formatted (to be viewed via portrait instead of landscape- like kids books).  This is probably a Publisher decision (not a bn decision)

Can you clarify what you mean by this? The NC won't connect to your phone network, but not sure what you mean...

I  would assume that the phone is capable of being a hotspot. This is a adhock network that the NOOK does not currently support. It would be great if it is added since the NOOK is WIFI only being able to connect using your mobile phone would save you the trouble of having to find a free hotspot.
