    Library Source for eBooks

There are many libraries around my house (I live in Michigan)that offer eBooks, but you must be a resident in order to partake.  I live in a small township whose library can't afford to sign on to the state program.  I was wondering if anyone knows of a library that offers a nonresident card.  I did send off to The Free Library of Philadelphia for $15.00 but wondered if anyone knows any others...

(I live in Michigan, so cannot partake of the Texas or New York libraries that were identified in other posts).

Check with all the libraries with e-books in Michigan to see if there's a small fee to get a card to their library.  You never know, it might work.  If the library has a decent selection, a $30-$50 fee could worth your money.
